Love the taste and makes a great mixed drink

I’ve been exploring options for adult tasting drinks that don’t take me 2 days to get over. I’ve tried many read-made “cocktails” and another brand of spirits. Optimist is my favorite of all of them. I love it just mixed with plain seltzer.

I guess this just wasn’t what I was hoping for. It is a very high quality product, but I think the fennel ruins it for me. I was hoping for a lot more citrus flavor to come through. I could see how others might really enjoy this, but it just wasn’t for me.
